Natura e Avventura nel Cuore della Maremma

A pochi chilometri dal B&B Borgo Vera, nel cuore del Parco Naturale della Maremma, si trova uno dei luoghi più affascinanti della Toscana: il Parco dell’Uccellina. Questo parco, che si estende per oltre 2.500 ettari, è una riserva naturale che rappresenta una delle aree più selvagge e incontaminate della regione. Qui la natura regna sovrana, offrendo paesaggi mozzafiato, una biodiversità unica e innumerevoli opportunità per gli amanti delle attività all’aria aperta.

Il Parco dell’Uccellina è il luogo ideale per chi ama la natura, le escursioni in bici e il trekking. Percorrendo i sentieri che attraversano boschi, dune e paludi, si può scoprire la flora e la fauna che abitano quest’area protetta. Durante le passeggiate, si possono avvistare numerosi animali, come i daini, i cinghiali e numerose specie di uccelli, rendendo ogni visita un’esperienza unica.

Il parco offre una vasta rete di percorsi da esplorare, tra cui il Sentiero della Marina, che porta fino alle meravigliose spiagge di Torre di Collelungo e Torre di San Giovanni. Queste spiagge incontaminate sono perfette per una pausa rinfrescante, godendo del panorama mozzafiato sulla costa maremmana. Inoltre, il parco è attraversato da sentieri che si snodano tra le colline e le paludi, ideali per il trekking e le passeggiate a piedi, ma anche per escursioni in bici, che permettono di scoprire ogni angolo nascosto del parco.

- Orari di apertura: Aperto tutto l’anno. In estate, la reception del parco è aperta dalle 8:30 alle 19:00, mentre in inverno gli orari possono variare.

Come arrivare: Il Parco dell’Uccellina si trova a circa 30 minuti in auto da Borgo Vera, facilmente raggiungibile percorrendo la Strada Provinciale 159 e seguendo le indicazioni per Alberese.

Il Parco dell’Uccellina è il luogo perfetto per chi cerca avventura e tranquillità immersi nella natura. Un’opportunità per fare trekking, esplorare in bicicletta, e vivere la Maremma in modo autentico, lontano dal trambusto quotidiano.

Tutto: suite da sogno, bellissima, arredata con gusto e molto funzionale, davvero impeccabile. Staff molto gentile e premuroso, che da mettere a proprio agio sin dal primo momento. Ottimi consigli per la cena e per vivere al meglio l’esperienza. Colazione ottima: varia e preparata con estrema attenzione sulle esigenze dell’ospite.

Abbiamo alloggiato a fine dicembre 2024, abbiamo trovato la camera caldissima come avevamo richiesto, la camera molto pulita anche il bagno. Molto rustico, charme e molto accogliente dalla reception alla camera. Fornito di tutti gli accessori dispensabil all’interno della camera e vicino dai paesi da poter visitare. Sicuramente ci ritorneremo. Ottimo!

Bellissimo palazzo in altrettanto bel borgo antico. E’ stato piacevole passeggare e fermarsi a chiaccherare con le persone del posto, molto cordiali e amichevoli. Favolose le camere del Palazzo, spaziose, pulite e decorate con gran gusto. Buona colazione in terrazza con eccezionale vista.
Molto gentile lo staff.Difficile trovare punti deboli. L’accesso in macchina, in caso si debba scaricare bagagli pesanti, non e’ certo semplice, ma impossibile da migliorare…

Stanza come nelle foto. Confortevole e accogliente. Struttura ben curata anche negli arredi, esterni con vista stupenda e staff molto gentile e disponibile. Colazione ottima. Assolutamente consigliato, torneremo.

La struttura è meravigliosa, in una posizione strategica per visitare la Val d’Orcia, con personale sempre disponibile e sorridente. Il borgo è un gioiellino in pietra, immerso nella pace e nel silenzio. Viaggiando in 3 con la cagnolina, siamo rimasti sorpresi dalla doppia camera e doppio bagno, perfetti per le nostre esigenze. Gli arredi sono in stile con il luogo, con affreschi eleganti, aria condizionata in entrambe le stanze e bagni spaziosi. La colazione, servita in giardino con una vista meravigliosa, è abbondante e di qualità.

Camera grande e accogliente (abbiamo preso la suite perché abbiamo 2 bambine piccole..) con vista sulla vallata, colazione buona e abbondante e posizione strategica per visitare i borghi piu conosciuti della Val d’Orcia. Ma soprattutto gentilezza e accoglienza del personale. Consigliatissimo.

Camera bellissima accogliente e fresca e confortevole
Se proprio devo trovare un difettuccio è la salita a piedi da fare per raggiungerlo ma prima con la macchina avevamo scaricato i bagagli proprio davanti la reception.

Capitati per caso cercando una soluzione per la notte nel nostro tour in val d’Orcia.
Il palazzo si trova a petroio uno dei tanti bellissimi piccoli borghi i Toscana,la location è bellissima e suggestiva,le camere arredate,con gusto “antico” e un cortile esterno che si affaccia con una bella vista.
Se siete in zona sicuramente consiglio di alloggiare qui.

La colazione servita in giardino è piacevole.
Per quanto riguarda il personale Giovanna si distingue per professionalità, gentilezza e cortesia, il restante fa quasi fatica a salutare……meglio che cambi mestiere.

Siamo stati ospiti in questa affascinante struttura, restaurata con attenzione ai particolari ma, soprattutto mantenendo un filo conduttore con la storicità della antica dimora. Personale affabile e preparato. Lo consiglio a chiunque vuole recarsi per un tour in valle d’Orcia.

Mi è piaciuto: Pulizia, personale e servizio, condizioni e dotazioni della struttura e comfort della camera.
Abbiamo soggiornato in una spaziosa camera con una vista mozzafiato sulle montagne. La camera era molto pulita. Il personale era molto gentile e disponibile. Abbiamo viaggiato con la nostra figlia adolescente e ci siamo tutti goduti molto il nostro soggiorno di cinque notti. La colazione era fantastica. La città è molto affascinante.

Nature and Adventure in the Heart of the Maremma

A few kilometres from the Borgo Vera B&B, in the heart of the Maremma Natural Park, lies one of the most fascinating places in Tuscany: the Parco dell’Uccellina. Covering over 2,500 hectares, this park is a nature reserve that represents one of the wildest and most unspoilt areas in the region. Here, nature reigns supreme, offering breathtaking landscapes, unique biodiversity and countless opportunities for lovers of outdoor activities.

The Parco dell’Uccellina is the ideal place for nature lovers, cycling and trekking. As you walk along the paths through woods, dunes and marshes, you can discover the flora and fauna that inhabit this protected area. During the walks, numerous animals such as fallow deer, wild boar and numerous bird species can be spotted, making every visit a unique experience.

The park offers an extensive network of trails to explore, including the Sentiero della Marina, which leads to the beautiful beaches of Torre di Collelungo and Torre di San Giovanni. These pristine beaches are perfect for a refreshing break while enjoying the breathtaking panorama of the Maremma coastline. In addition, the park is criss-crossed by paths winding through the hills and marshes, ideal for trekking and walking, but also for biking, allowing you to discover every hidden corner of the park.

We stayed at the end of December 2024, we found the room very warm as we had requested, the room very clean even the bathroom. Very rustic, charming and very welcoming from the reception to the room. Equipped with all the accessories dispensabil inside the room and close to the countries to visit. Definitely we will return. Excellent!

Beautiful building in equally beautiful old village. It was pleasant to walk around and stop to chat with the locals, who were very warm and friendly. Fabulous rooms in the palace, spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. Good breakfast on the terrace with exceptional views.
Very friendly staff.Difficult to find weak points. Access by car, in case you have to unload heavy luggage, is certainly not easy, but impossible to improve…

Room as in the photos. Comfortable and cosy. Well cared for even in the furnishings, exterior with beautiful views and very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Absolutely recommended, we will return.

The structure is wonderful, in a strategic position for visiting the Val d’Orcia, with staff who are always helpful and smiling. The hamlet is a little stone jewel, immersed in peace and silence. Travelling in 3 with the little dog, we were surprised by the double room and double bathroom, perfect for our needs. The furnishings are in style with the place, with elegant frescoes, air conditioning in both rooms and spacious bathrooms. Breakfast, served in the garden with a wonderful view, is plentiful and quality.

Large and comfortable room (we took the suite because we have two small girls ..) overlooking the valley, breakfast good and plentiful and strategic location for visiting the most popular villages of the Val d’Orcia. But above all kindness and hospitality of the staff. Highly recommended.

Beautiful room cosy and cool and comfortable If I really have to find a flaw it is the walk uphill to get there, but we had previously unloaded our luggage with the car right in front of reception.

We happened by chance looking for a solution for the night on our tour in the Val d’Orcia. The palace is located in Petroio one of the many beautiful small villages in Tuscany, the location is beautiful and evocative, the rooms furnished, with taste ‘old’ and an outdoor courtyard that overlooks a beautiful view. If you are in the area I definitely recommend staying here.

Excellent location in a very deserving hamlet. The breakfast served in the garden is pleasant. As for the staff Giovanna stands out for professionalism, kindness and courtesy, the rest almost makes it difficult to say hello……meglio that he changes profession.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff and service, condition and amenities of the room. We stayed in a spacious room with a stunning view of the mountains. The room was very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We travelled with our teenage daughter and we all thoroughly enjoyed our five-night stay. The breakfast was fantastic. The city is very charming.

Nature and Adventure in the Heart of the Maremma
